2010 Poppy Appeal Success in Pudsey

The 2010 Poppy Appeal for Pudsey & Farsley has been a terrific success as the fundraising total of £20,974.58 has just been revealed.

Stuart Andrew, MP for Pudsey, commented:  “This is such a credit to everyone who volunteered their time to collect and to local people who gave so generously to such a worthwhile cause.  In particular, I know that a big thank you needs to go to the veterans, the local air cadets, Danny Dance and his team for organising the overall appeal and co-ordinating it with such dedication and the Royal British Legion Club Pudsey for their support and assistance.  Also, a big thank you needs to go to Jamie Peacock who, once again, launched the 2010 Appeal”.

Volunteers are always needed to help with the Poppy Appeal and, if you feel that you can offer some time to help with collections, please contact Stuart Andrew’s office on 0113 204 7954.
