Stuart Andrew MP has welcomed the news that employment across the UK has reached its highest rate since records began, and that unemployment remains at its lowest level for 11 years – down over 900,000 since 2010.
Stuart Andrew MP has voiced his support for The Biggest Fight Against Bone Cancer, a new campaign to raise much-needed awareness of and funds for primary bone cancer, at a parliamentary reception for the Bone Cancer Research Trust, a local Horsforth charity.

Stuart has welcomed the news that employment across the UK continues to run at a record high, the unemployment rate has fallen to an 11-year low, and that according to today’s figures there are 172,000 more people back in work in Yorkshire and the Humber since 2010.
Speaking in yesterday’s debate on the Neighbourhood Planning Bill, Stuart invited the Housing and Planning Minister to witness the ‘terrible effect’ that Leeds City Council’s house building plans would have on Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough.
