The Department for Transport have announced that two consultations will take place to allow constituents to demonstrate their views on HS2 and allow an opportunity to view the plans that are being outlined.

On Friday 19th October Stuart welcomed the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock to the constituency. They visited Emis Health, a company based in Rawdon within the constituency, which specialises in providing healthcare software and services.

Stuart, joined by other Leeds MPs and Councillor’s from both political parties, met with the Floods Minister this week to reiterate how crucial it is that enough funding is provided to the region to help build adequate flood defences following the Storm Eva flooding in 2015.
