Stuart Andrew MP has voiced his support for The Biggest Fight Against Bone Cancer, a new campaign to raise much-needed awareness of and funds for primary bone cancer, at a parliamentary reception for the Bone Cancer Research Trust, a local Horsforth charity.
Stuart Andrew, MP for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough, today called on the Prime Minister to ensure the digital and creative industry continues to flourish in Leeds with a fair share of the £1billion of funding announced in the Autumn Statement for better broadband.
A Horsforth man joined Stuart Andrew MP in parliament on 23 November to call for more support for women with ovarian cancer across the UK. Paul Shagouri’s wife Christine died from ovarian cancer in 2015, and he continues to campaign for better support for women with the disease.

Stuart has welcomed the news that employment across the UK continues to run at a record high, the unemployment rate has fallen to an 11-year low, and that according to today’s figures there are 172,000 more people back in work in Yorkshire and the Humber since 2010.
