Stuart welcomes Aldi donation of 1,181 meals to Pudsey

Stuart  was recently delighted by the efforts of the Christmas Eve Aldi stores donation of surplus fresh food to local charities. 

The initiative saw 1,181 meals being donated to the constituents of Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough who are in need of help over the Christmas period.

Stuart shares delight as Palliative Care funding is boosted

Following on from the #fundnotfail campaign from Together for Short Lives earlier in the year that called for an increase in statuary funding for children’s palliative care, it has been confirmed that an increase in funding has been granted.

Pudsey Christmas Lights Switched On

Following on from the hugely successful lights switch on of the Guiseley Christmas Lights on Sunday 25th November, it was Pudsey’s turns to celebrate the start of the Christmas period.

On 30th November Stuart visited Martin House Hospice, which provides family-led care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. The Hospice cares for children and their close ones all over Yorkshire.

On Sunday 25th November the festive season started with a bang in Guiseley on Sunday 25th November as fireworks lit up the sky to celebrate the switching on of this year’s Christmas lights display. 

Stuart joins in with the Community Push for BBC’s Children in Need

Stuart joined hundreds of members of the community in the constituency in the annual push to raise money for BBC’s Children in Need on Friday 16th November. All money raised goes towards the cause of helping to change children’s lives all across the UK for the better.
