Hundreds of people across Leeds joined the Clean for the Queen tidy-up events last weekend. Across the UK more than a million people have been clearing up their local areas to help celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday this April.

Stuart took part in the annual Chevin Chase event on Boxing Day, a seven mile race, which he ran in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

New Station Entrance Provides Opportunity for Development

Stuart Andrew (MP for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough) has praised the new £20 million southern entrance to Leeds railway station. It is estimated that around 20,000 people a day will use the new entrance, which provides a direct link to Leeds’ growing south bank area.

Speech on Flooding

Stuart spoke in the flooding debate yesterday, to press for a meeting between Leeds MPs and the Secretary of State, and to praise the response from both the Council and constituents.
