As part of Stuart’s duty as Vice Chamberlain of Her Majesty’s Household, he was recently taken hostage during the State Opening of Parliament to ensure the safe return of Her Majesty the Queen.

Following on from the #fundnotfail campaign from Together for Short Lives earlier in the year that called for an increase in statuary funding for children’s palliative care, it has been confirmed that an increase in funding has been granted.
After calls from Stuart in recent weeks for a funding increase to be allocated to Leeds, the Secretary of State, Matt Hancock MP, has confirmed the allocation to the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Stuart has called on the Department of Health to approve a funding application for £27 million by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust which is to go towards a new pathology lab.
