Following on from the hugely successful lights switch on of the Guiseley Christmas Lights on Sunday 25th November, it was Pudsey’s turns to celebrate the start of the Christmas period. There was a large turnout as people from all over the constituency descended on Pudsey to gaze at the lights and shop at the local market.
There was a wide variety of food, drink and presents on offer, not normally available elsewhere. Many items were locally hand-crafted, perfect for those who were browsing for Christmas gifts.
Stuart said: "Once again the people of Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough came out in force to support the local community. It is always great to see people supporting local businesses and enjoying themselves in our towns. Councilors Simon Seary and Mark Harrison and Dawn Seary as well as large number of local volunteers, worked so hard to put together the day, and their hard work paid off with a thoroughly enjoyable day for all."
