With the consultation to Leeds City Council's Site Allocations Plan closing in a few days, Stuart has today urged constituents to have their final say on the plans.
Commenting on the plans, Stuart said:
"So many constituents have already got in touch with me to share their views on the Council's plans, which I have consistently said will have a terrible effect on the greenbelt across our area. We need to preserve these natural boundaries and our treasured landscape. It has been great to see how constituents have got involved and had a genuine say on the plans.
"I particularly want to praise neighbourhood groups like RGAG and the Aireborough Neighbourhood Development Forum, who have helped so many people understand what can be a complicated consultation. It is so important, as it is people's final say before an independently appointed Government Inspector decides whether Leeds' proposals need further review. If you haven't contributed already, you should do so before Monday."
