Stuart is re-elected to serve Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough

Following the 2019 General Election, Stuart was delighted to be re-elected again to serve as the Member of Parliament for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough. Receiving a total of 26,453 votes, the highest number of votes he has received in any election, Stuart increased his majority to 3,517 and won the seat on the fourth consecutive occasion.

Stuart said: “I did nearly lose the seat at the 2017 General Election but this time it was remarkable to hear how many people were willing to vote for me who would not have done so previously. This trend has continued right across the country, and that is why we are welcoming 109 new Conservative MP’s to Parliament this week.

The Conservative Party will immediately start repaying the trust given to us and deliver on the people’s priorities. That means strengthening the justice system, providing a better service to commuters, giving better protection for renters, addressing the issues with our NHS and withdrawing from the European Union at long last.

I would like to thank my team, staff and volunteers who have all worked so tirelessly with me day and night for weeks on end to make sure I was re-elected. I would also especially like to thank all of the voters who have placed their trust in me – I am extremely grateful, and I will work very hard to repay this trust by representing the interests of Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough in Parliament.”
