On Friday 19th October Stuart welcomed the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock to the constituency. They visited Emis Health, a company based in Rawdon within the constituency, which specialises in providing healthcare software and services. Minister Hancock and Stuart discussed the innovative technology and analysis techniques that Emis are creating and the impact on health service.
Stuart said: "It is always a pleasure to welcome a Minister to our constituency to show them some of the many thriving businesses that exist here. I am especially pleased to show the Secretary of State the work that Emis does towards innovating the health service with the technology that it is developing. It is always great to see local businesses thriving, as this not only benefits the health sector that it is in, but provides important jobs for constituents.”
